These pipes are awesome looking and sounding, always generating compliments! They are a rolled end style and for a sleek look. The top and bottom pipe are both 15 inches in length and 3 1/2 in diameter. If you like loud, then you will love these pipes.
The great thing about TAB pipes are the fact that they bolt on in 15 minutes and that includes taking off your factory pipes to switch them out. So that means that you can run these on the weekends or around town and when you want to go on a road trip or quiet your VROD down, just switch them back out. Your bike requires no additional hardware or drilling to mount them and your factory pipe clamps will work when mounting them.
We get numerous questions asking if the bikes computer needs to be reprogrammed or re-mapped when running these pipes. Practically any exhaust changes that you make to the V-Rod require an air/fuel mixture correction to ensure the safety of the bikes engine. We now have the TAB Performance Fuel Manager ready to sell. This unit comes with pre-loaded maps that were created for all of the TAB Pipes after 300 dyno runs. The fuel manager is for sale on the home page.
