Never liked the stock look... plus I already have the Zombie slip-ons.
Easy installation (around 30 min), excellent build quality, love the look, but there are a few things that are worth mentioning based on my ~1k miles .
1. there are 3 bolts on the inside of the filter that while unlikely to back out... could. If they did, there's the possibility that they could make their way into the intake.
2. it is advised to re-tune, I did not. The zombie slip-ons plus this air filter work fine with my stock tune.
3. The stock blow-by hose was a very tight fit and had the potential to disconnect. I wound up installing a catch-can-kit.
4. use loctite on the back mounting bolts that hold the posts to the backplate. I had used loctite on the front mounting bolts and it created some hassle when I was taking the filter off.
5. the window can fog up if you're ridding in the rain.
Definitely recommend this product if you're looking for something different/unique.
