I did a lot of shopping for an aftermarket exhaust that looked, sounded good, and was cost effective. First, just because it was competitive cost wise, doesn't mean it is "cheap". Overall, I'm very satisfied with the workmanship and quality of the mufflers. Took my time, and still had the mufflers on in about 2 to 2.5 hrs.
The video tutorial on YouTube was VERY helpful, and a phone call to Tab near closing time was just as helpful. The issue I ran into was in dealing with the breather base and an oil vent tube which comes from the top of the forward cylinder head are into the base of the breather, and seats in a rubber fitting. Reassembly of the breather didn't work out as prescribed. An oil leak developed during the test run, and is required an HD mechanic to replace some of the breather assembly to address the leak.
Aside from the above issue, I have no complaints. There is an obvious difference in engine performance and hp. I would recommend this kit to other V rod owners.
