Great deal for the V Rod muscle. September 29, 2015 Reviewer: Rodney Royal from Miami Gardens , FL United States   Stage 1 kit with the auto tuner is the way to go for my 2011 vrod muscle, very simple to install I followed the instructions and everything works like a charm THE NOISE IS GREAT and it actually sounds like a Harley so I rate it an 8 out of 10, happy that I went with you Tab thank you very much. OK but air filter was a bit damaged September 3, 2015 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Brussels, Belgium   Great stuff with the manual but the air filter that I received was damaged on one of the corners. Weird, because the package was OK and well protected. TAB Response: Any reason you didn't contact us? If you received a damaged product we would have of course replaced it. TAB Exhaust for my V-Rod Muscle July 28, 2015 Reviewer: Scott S. from Oak Park, MI United States   I absolutely love the new sound of my exhaust thanks to the TAB Exhaust slip on pipes. They match the factory silver color, look great and sound awesome. Shipping was fast and the packaging was excellent. I also purchased the auto tuner and the performance air filter. Sound & Performance for less $$$ June 24, 2015 Reviewer: David Brown from Downers Grove, IL United States   Everyone said, "oh you have to get the V&H system for your Muscle.". Well, I don't listen very well & I'm so happy I didn't! I bought the stage 1 slip on kit, and what a difference.  Had a friend at a shop here in Chicago area help dial it in on a dyno.  HUGE improvement all around! Oh, and I'm sure I saved a nice chunk of cash as well by going with TAB. Was this review helpful to you?

Awesome! May 26, 2015 Reviewer: Alex M from Kansas City, MO   For anyone looking for a solid 2-2 setup for your muscle to keep the agressive dual exhaust, you've found it!  I have a buddy of mine that i work with, whom after owning my vrscf for a week decided he needed one as well, that bought the V&H slipon setup. I can honestly say I was a little skiddish at first and almost went the same route, just based on the name.  I decided to go with Tab based on the feedback I'd seen on other sites, however, and I'm not the least bit disappointed. Sure the pipes don't sound like a "normal Harley" but nothing about the V Rod is a "normal Harley" minus the board and shield.  Its got a really nice growl now, and you'll be hard pressed for anyone NOT to know youre coming! Installation was a breeze with easy/simple tools, and clear cut directions. I encourage you to go the Tab Performance route and enjoy! Ride safe! Was this review helpful to you?

Vrod muscle Exhaust April 28, 2015 Reviewer: Chris from Asheboro, NC United States   I purchased the Vrod muscle stage 1 kit with the Auto tuner. Everything came packaged very well. Installation of the Exhaust was simple. The installation of the Auto tuner, well to me the instructions could have been better. But I did find a very helpful video on YouTube that walks you through the hole process. Once complete I fired it up let run so the tuner would go into closed loop mode an then took off for a test ride. After about 40 miles or more of riding letting it adjust. I noticed driving in 2nd gear about 3500 rpms there is a studder in that ranger where it doest run as smooth. Side note this is my second Vrod muscle. I had it dyno tuned with a hd screaming eagle tuner an it pulled from idle all the way to top end with no hesitation or mid range power band. I'd say the Tab performance products aren't 100% perfect but dang near close for the money, unless you want to spend the money to have it dyno tuned. Good Match! March 17, 2015 Reviewer: Conwan Schreiner from PARKER, CO United States   I opted for the 1-3/4" baffles and prefered the stock-look of  "badgeless" pipes. Justin/Tab accomodated this request and I could not be happier. The auto-tuner performs perfectly with this set-up. There is a bit of wiring and there was a small issue with the TPI-Connector as it did not line-up properly with the stock connector. This connector supplies the auto-tuner a ground; and nothing worked (no light on tuner). I conferred with Justin that the unit was not getting a ground on any pins and he quickly led me to the TPI-Connector; and I assertained that it was a pin-line-up issue.As advertised, the unit does have to "learn" for quite a while and just kept running better. It is a blast to ride now. The sound and performance is a perfect match.I did have to mount the auto-tuner under the right-side airbox cover rather than by the battery as the video indicated. Stage 1 Kit with auto tuner February 18, 2015 Reviewer: KLXT Muscle from Lees Summit, MO United States   I did a lot of shopping for an aftermarket exhaust that looked, sounded good, and was cost effective. First, just because it was competitive cost wise, doesn't mean it is "cheap". Overall, I'm very satisfied with the workmanship and quality of the mufflers. Took my time, and still had the mufflers on in about 2 to 2.5 hrs. The video tutorial on YouTube was VERY helpful, and a phone call to Tab near closing time was just as helpful. The issue I ran into was in dealing with the breather base and an oil vent tube which comes from the top of the forward cylinder head are into the base of the breather, and seats in a rubber fitting. Reassembly of the breather didn't work out as prescribed. An oil leak developed during the test run, and is required an HD mechanic to replace some of the breather assembly to address the leak. Aside from the above issue, I have no complaints. There is an obvious difference in engine performance and hp. I would recommend this kit to other V rod owners. Was this review helpful to you?
