V Rod Muscle stage 1 kit February 5, 2015 Reviewer: Bruce Flanagan from La Grande, OR United States   Shipping was fast every thing was packed well and arrived in good condition. Installation was easy with good instructions. I did have a slight problem with the tps plug the tech support was great and I  got it working with ease after talking to them. The pipes sound awesome and with the whole kit installed the bike runs great with a noticeable increase in power. I would defiantly recommend the TAB stage 1 kit to V ROD owners. You want these September 22, 2014 Reviewer: EricL   I had stock pipes on my 2012 Muscle for 2 years and put 26,000 miles on it before I upgraded to the Stage 1 kit. I could not be happier with the new pipes, tune and air. The stock VRod exhaust note as you know leaves much to be desired. The baffles that ship with the pipes are near perfect sound wise. Not too loud, not to quiet. Performance wise throttle response it outstanding and there is lift on the front forks that wasn't there prior to the upgrade. I didn't dyno the bike before or after but you can feel the difference over stock. Install was easy. Just watch the video a couple times before you start into it. Don't worry; you can't screw up the connections on the tuner as they will only connect to what they're supposed to connect to. The only problem I had was that the air filter is a little taller than the stock filter. The top of the air box doesn't want to go on easily. So I just went topless and called it good. There are several videos out there on doing topless mods so check into those while you're waiting for your kit as well. I ordered the kit on Monday and it was on my doorstep Wednesday with the USPS shipping. I didn't expect it to show till Friday so was pleasantly surprised to get them as soon as I did. Easy and worth every penny! September 8, 2014 Reviewer: MitchB.   As there are so few options and I am new to the whole V Rod thing, I began the search for a "simple exhaust upgrade". I've had many traditional Harleys and the usual standby suppliers simply do not make many accessories for this bike.  So, after doing a little research, I liked what I read about the TAB products (though I had never heard of them) and decided to give them a try. I chose the "basic" stage 1 kit and I was amazed by the ease of installation as well as the sound produced. It is loud, but not obnoxious.The difference in power is quite noticeable though I am still playing with the tuner. Everything fit as expected and the whole set up took about an hour and a half. The quality of materials are top notch and the delivery took less than a week. On a side note, I mistakenly ordered two kits and after I realized MY mistake, I contacted TAB and spoke with Justin to explain my predicament. He took care of it promptly with the utmost courtesy, even sending me an email to confirm the charge had been deleted. It is so great to see such rock solid customer service like this in today's world. Was this review helpful to you?

great kit--easy to install June 13, 2014 Reviewer: corey24   The satin finish is a perfect match.  The pipes were easy to install and the auto tuner works great.  Watch the YouTube installation video to help you get the connections and wire runs correct. I replaced the 2" baffles with the 1 3/4".  I then added an extra wrap of fiberglass from the 2" baffles.  This further reduced the sound level by 2 decibels at idle and 4 at highway revs.  This is a reduction of 5 decibels at idle over the 2" baffles.  The sound level is perfect.  A nice growl without waking the neighborhood but when you get on it they still let everyone know you're there.  No earplugs required.  87 decibels at idle up to 102 at highway revs (measured at 45 degrees from the tailpipe at 2 feet away). Excellent products and value May 21, 2014 Reviewer: Shawn Hoffman   Very pleased with this kit.  Perfect match on the nickle finish of the VRSCF heat shields. Install was straight forward and with very detailed instructions.  I kept the standard 2" baffles and the sound is very deep and power full but not too loud.  Get rid of that sewing machine sound and let your muscle sound like it should! Great Products & Service May 19, 2014 Reviewer: Mad Max   I purchased this stage 1 kit. I got the Muscle Satin slipons, Hi-Flo Air Filter and the Auto Tuner. These items were easy to install (mind you I have mechanical background) But the instructions were very easy to read for the non mechanical person. Over all a great kit , pricey $$$ May 10, 2014 Reviewer: Mauihowie   A great add on to the HD Muscle. Adds a ton of power , torque in the upper mid range and if sound is a factor it brings back the overall HD sound instead if the stock pipe nothing sound. Installed by dealer can get pricey but it's rough doing it yourself with proper tools and software now that everything is software based. Was this review helpful to you?
