Thunderstroke headers June 3, 2026 Reviewer: Gary Oakes from Clearwater, FL United States   I was a little hesitant that these headers would make the bike a little to load but to my surprise they are perfect. The sound is not much louder at idle but when you’re on the throttle you can tell the difference.the installation was fairly simple and Tabs shipping was unbelievably fast. Great product!!!! 2-1-2 Thunderstroke February 16, 2026 Reviewer: Mark Ciani from Omaha, NE United States   good fit except the exhaust gaskets you supplied are almost to small, i had to put primates on them to hold them in place while i put them on and later had a leak due to the rear one moving while assembly, later i took all back apart and had one from my Harley it fit tight but didnt fall out, reassembled and didn’t leak, i love the look and sound but you need to send proper exhaust gaskets, cause its enough to have to put them on at once, meaning front and back, but to have to try and hold the gaskets from falling out is a pain Was this review helpful to you?

Good fit, not so much finish August 26, 2024 Reviewer: Jeremy Kupper from Easton, PA United States   The header pipes have a good fit to the bike and installed as per the instructions. I was a bit disappointed with the finish and quality of welds on the pipes. Although they were functional they were very rough. I also found that the internals of the pipes Also had very rough, looking welds to include pieces of welding wire hanging The joining of the pipes and the ragged welds created obstructions Inside the pipes. The plating on the pipes was very spotty. The plating was inside the threaded holds and had to be clean before the bungs could be filled. The factory Indian pipes had much nicer, looking welds and much better craftsmanship than these replacements. It’s kind of a shame I’ve put lesser quality parts onto my motorcycle as an upgrade. What a difference July 20, 2024 Reviewer: John Severson from West fargo, ND United States   Installing these was not a simple task but very achievable even with minimal wrench skills.  Instructions were easy to follow.  The difference in temperature on the bike is tremendous and well worth the effort of install. Well worth the cost and work June 16, 2024 Reviewer: Derek from Rochester MN.   Getting rid of the catalyst in the head pipe on the Indian chieftain was the best improvement I've made. Tab makes great products well worth the investment for better sound and motor character. I think the power went up too due to the motor breathing better. Thanks Tab Performance.
