Installed this TAB Performance 2-1-2 mid-pipe on a 2023 Indian Pursuit with factory slip-ons. It delivers as promised, with one installation quirk worth noting.
Pros:
Heat Reduction: Eliminating the catalytic converter helped reduce the heat baking my right leg—a night-and-day difference in traffic.
Sound & Response: Gives a throatier bark and crisper throttle response while keeping factory heat shields for a stock look.
Fitment Challenge & Tip:
Left Alignment: The right side went on easily, but the left crossover pipe required substantial leverage to align with the saddlebag hanger.
Install Tip: Keep the headers, mid-pipe bracket, and all clamps loose until the rear hanger bolts are started by hand, then tighten front to back to avoid binding.
Solid build quality and great heat management. Highly recommended, just be patient with the install.
