4 of 5 bad quality control September 15, 2020
Reviewer: John Pappalardo from Mountain Home, AR United States
My baffles came from the factory with rust already in them and my Orig 2.5 baffles that came with mufflers also had rust in them after pulling them out to install 1.75 . The rust also made them hard to remove and install the new ones . I landed up  using some light sandpaper to remove the rust and cleaned them with WD-40 then applied a little anti-seize around the inside . This little bit of prep made the process much easier because I didn't get the bolt holes aligned the first time and only required a slight tap with a rubber mallet to insert the baffles . The first time I tried to install them before cleaning them took a couple of hard whacks to get them in all the way . . If you are using rusted material from the start maybe someone should clean them before shipping or put in a helpful note to customers about cleaning and a little WD-40 to make the install much easier and much less force to get in .  I hope this will be considered in the future for easier installation. Thank you
