PLEASE NOTE: This product includes one set (2 pieces) of Zombie Rings of your choice. Zombie Rings are only designed to fit into TAB Performance ALUMINUM TIPS on TAB Performance mufflers. They are not designed to fit any of our steel tips. Also the 3.5" ring has a different design from the main product photo due to size so please checkout the thumbnail to see the star shaped center with the Z in the middle to see the 3.5" option. The 4" & 4.5" mufflers that are using an extension will cause the torque cone to not be able to reach as far into the baffle and can alter the results.
***Torque Cone Version is now an option that is integrated into the Z-Ring and can NOT be added later, you must select if that option if you want them***
Benefits
1.) Performance - These rings will provide more restriction to help your tuning produce maximum results without sacrificing sound. It is important to note that if your set-up has a catalyst which is providing ample restriction the results will not be the same as a wide open system that needs more restriction to perform in the lower ranges optimally. In some set-ups you may get a lower peak torque value on your dyno sheet, but more consistent power through a greater range. That being said it is important to know your set-up and what you are trying to accomplish when adding this product. The Ring alone provides some restriction but is primarily for looks and the majority of restriction comes from the additional insert.
2.) Cosmetics - They look great inside of the muffler cap and really help set your bike apart.
Sound Note
***These will change the note of the exhaust mostly on decel. This product is a fine tuning product not something meant for drastic changes more to move power to the lower register. We have customers who love this and swear by them and others who did not like the change in sound to the exhaust and go back to the zombies by themselves. If you purchase the unit and do not like the sound change, the unit can't be returned.
Finish
These are a bright machined aluminum finish. If you would like you are free to coat them in high temp paint or powder of your choice for ultimate customization or leave in a machined aluminum finish for a great look. It is important to note that this is directly blocking the exhaust so discoloration and carbon build up is to be expected.
Select the torque cone size that corresponds to the size of your exhaust tip.
